1949, Born in Germany. 1969, permanently moved to UK. 1972, Studied ceramics at Sir John Cass School of Art, London. 1978-9, Drawing classes and lectures at the Royal College by invitation from Eduardo Paolozzi. 1985/6, Metal fabrication classes at South Thames College, London. 1991, Krasner-Pollock Foundation grant. 1992, Visiting professor Stroganovska Institute, Moscow. 2005, Elected Fellow Royal British Society of Sculptors. 2006, 3 month’s Scholarship Fondazione Sem, Pietrasanta, Italy. 2009-21, Created ‘Star of London’ annual BFI London Film Festival award sculpture. 2013, Honorary Doctorate Leicester University. 2017, Elected Member of the London Group. 2019, Elected Vice President of the Royal Society of Sculptors. 1978-now, many exhibitions annually, showing Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, USA, but mainly in the UK. Commissioned public art St. George’s Hospital, London; Leicester University Library; Richard Rogers’ Chiswick Park.
