Born in 1983, Portugal, lives and works in Norway. With academic background in Visual Arts (2002-2007) and Art and Design for Public Space (2007-2008), Ferreira is currently a fellow of the Bildende Kunstneres Vederlagsfond. Her solo exhibitions include Primary structures: A place beyond failure (2018) at Galeria Presença (PT) and Space, Rhythm & Movement (2015) at Messmer Kunsthalle (DE). She has also developed several public art projects: Chromatic Sounds (2016/2017, St Raphael College, Ireland), Voyage dans l’rhythme (2015/20, Liverpool Hospital, UK) and “Rear Window” (2015, Oslo Central Station). In 2018, The Guardian featured her work “Shall we dance?” (2017) as one of the “10 best outdoors art installations worldwide”. Ferreira will enroll in the Mres Fine Arts & Humanities Programme at the Royal College of Art, London, from September 2019.
