LACUNA projects always reflect a broader cultural strategy and our team brings a wealth of expertise. The LACUNA team has worked on a number of cultural strategies and incorporates critical and applied knowledge in architecture, urbanism and cultural programming. Public Art, Art in Buildings, Community Engagement and Activations, are components in placemaking: creating new spaces and communities.

LACUNA works closely alongside Planning and Culture teams, helping to shape the most effective strategies and solutions to ensure that vision and delivery aims are aligned. Each project reflects this collaborative approach. By integrating seamlessly with wider teams, we are able to identify opportunities, refine approaches and develop tailored strategies that respond to project objectives and the cultural landscape. The result is work that feels relevant and impactful.

Extensive public and stakeholder consultations were conducted and juxtaposed with leading international examples. The results of this Cultural Strategy report, informed Sculpture in the City's programming of Nocturnal Creatures.
