Lacuna has a proven track record of delivering projects of all scales: ranging from local communities to large scale complex projects. We work at the intersection of art, architecture and urban planning.

We are adept at working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and challenging timelines and conditions.

We integrate seemlessly in to existing project teams and continuously expand our network of stakeholders.

Our rigorous ongoing consultation process is delivered with transparency and ongoing communication.

Case studies

Sculpture in the City

Since November 2010 Lacuna has worked in close partnership with the City of London Corporation and local businesses in the insurance district of the Square Mile, to deliver 12 editions of Sculpture in the City (2011–2023). The project demonstrates our ability to repeatedly deliver large scale public realm projects that demand complex stakeholder management, overseeing participating artists, galleries, sponsors, local governing bodies, patrons, jurors, local communities and members of the public.

Paddington Square

For the Paddington Square Public Art Programme, Lacuna has been working closely since 2020 with an international client group (Sellar, Great Western Developments, Anchorage Ltd.), design team (RPBW) and key stakeholders, including Westminster City Council, St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington Partnership and residential associations.
